Today is the first day of "SUMMER CHALLENGE" by Lady-Flower 123.You all might already know her through her blog Lady-Flower 123. She has created a second blog in English for her International readers and has hosted the Summer Challenge through that site. 

This challenge is for everyone and i have to make post as follows:

nail polish stripes.

 Though i was not a big fan of stickers but few days back i got mail from one of the follower shreya and she asked me to do sticker nail arts as she doesn't have steady hand to draw free hand . also she said there may be more readers like her who loves nail art but because they can't draw free hand they just satisfy themselves  by using crackles or adding rhinestones or glitters to the nails.i replied her that she can do stamping then but i know stamping also needs lots of practice and patience .....by this i realised i havn't posted any stamped notd  yet and i am 114 posts old.....okay then you r going to get stamping notd soon from me.

coming back to this notd and stickers......stickers are lot easier to apply....there are different types stickers available in the market....full nail stickers,cartoon stickers,water decals, fimo stickers,gold and silver stamped stickers,french tip stickers,gel stickers,lace stickers,glitter fabric stickers, metal decals ,plastic decals etc....

so i have decided that i will try to post to atleast one notd using stickers once in a 15 days.

today i am showing you the full nail sticker.....this particular one is called nail polish strips. they r super thin and apply very easily...

i got some interesting things from my latest haul namely....hello kitty metal emblishment, NYX dreamy glitter and flormar 121 nail enamel......so i decided to do very quick mani using these.

gold triangle nail art

hi all,

this is the very popular trend this year.follow the steps to get this look...

products:
tips and toes mini nail paints, Zinnia.
Avon black matte nail polish.
cello tape or triangular nail guides.
orly matte top coat.(optional).

steps:


after basecoat, apply your gold nail paint.












make sure your golden paint is dry completely then put your triangular nail guide or cello tape in"V" shape towards your cuticles as shown in the pic....






and paint your nails with black..

after your black paint dries completely remove your guides and apply your matte topcoat and you are done.

Recently i purchased angry birds nail art stickers from bornpretty store...i love playing angry birds game...one packet of these stickers is enough for both hands.

as i told you earlier i am going to hong kong for vacations and will buy nail art stuff for blog sale....so i am leaving on 10th and will be back on 18th.....but you will going to get regular posts from me as i am scheduling and writing them in advance..i will read all your blogs whenever i got time there and comment also as i am taking my I-pad with me I can't live without it.....:) you may see different nail lengths in my tutorials this is because i am scheduling them from first week of may when started my challenge.....i keep on altering my acrylics length and finally i chopped them so nowadays i have quite short nails.If i can manage i will make tutorials for short nails before going.

A BASIC STEP-BY-STEP MANICURE

1.Shape the nails into a square shape with an emery board.

2.Apply a thin layer of basecoat to the nail in three strokes: Base coat maintains a manicure for longer; prevents staining of the nail and helps maintain moisture in the nail.

3.Apply your favourite Tip Top colour: start a millimetre away from the cuticle as seen in picture

4.Push the brush backwards toward the cuticle area
5.Move towards the tip in the centre of the nail

Without doing any kind of babbling.. ...I am writing the rules we may say features of my group as I don't want to distract myself by babbling.

I am forming this group to have fun while doing nail art and providing our readers with as many designs on one theme.....:D

features/rules.

1. this is a nail art group....on every TUESDAY, you have to submit your design. the theme is posted one week in advance by me but the theme is chosen by one of you. example...today i tag say"A" to tell me the theme for second tuesday of june and ask her to tell me who she is tagging for third tuesday and so on......on every tuesday i do new post asking for you to submit the link of your design in the form  "simply link " below and tell you the theme for next tuesday and name of the tagged person and on that post the tagged person have to tell me her chosen theme and name she tagged.....hope I am making sense to u all....let the first week pass this thing become more clearer...
