NAIL SPLITTING.....

HOW TO DO STRIPES:

Hi all,

You can draw any  kind of lines like horizontal, vertical, diagonal. Here I am sharing with u the very easy way of making diagonal stripes.

HOW TO DO STRIPES:
1. Apply a Base Coat.
2. Apply a layer of your Favorite colour.let this layer dry completely.
3. Cut very thin strips of sticky tape and place on the nail as you wish.
4. Apply  Black nail enamel over the entire nail.
5. When almost dry remove sticky tape and Voila Pretty nails!!!

nails now look

hi all,
Ovals ARE BACK!!! Longer lengths and more outrageous techniques are prevalent. Nail stickers are everywhere. The varieties are endless! On top of all this amazing goodness, progressive technologies are being used to create polish without all the toxic chemicals.
A sign of a put together woman is one with well manicured nails. Whether that means an au natural buffed look or a lacquered bold hue, consistency is key.

2000's nails look

hi all,
Throughout the last two decades, NAILS has chronicled the best of nail styles, from thick and square to thin and oval. Here, a look back at the highlights — the fabulous, the frivolous, and the truly influential.

Nail styles have come into their own especially during the last 100 years. During the 1920s, nails progressed from snowy white nail tips , to crimson-colored nails as the ’30s approached. The most unusual technique was referred to as Paris Nails. They were deep pink at the edges with a paler pink in the center of each nail.

90's nails look

hi all,
To get the lively look of the 90′s isn’t hard – a bottle of Chanel’s Vamp will probably do the trick. It was definitely the signature colour of the 1990′s – but that doesn’t mean it’s the only colour that can give you the look.
each decade has its own fairly distinct nail fashions from the functionality of the 10′s to the wartime glam of the 40′s to the glittering vibe of the 70′s. The 90′s somehow managed to combine the entire 20th century of fashion into one decade as the world began to work its way online.

80's nails look.

hi all,
In the 50′s it was all red, in the 60′s pastels came into vogue and in the 70′s nails either went natural or super deep. The 80′s was an ‘everything goes’ type of decade and truly fashion & cosmetics ranged from super natural to eye bleeding brights. The 80′s was a time of bold experimentation and personal liberation. Cosmetics almost couldn’t get colourful enough.

70's nails look

hi all,
In the 50′s red was all the rage and women opted for softer, pastel shades in the 60′s. The 70′s brought about a natural movement that sent many women off with *gasp* bare nails. However, while some bared it all, others opted for deep brick reds, browns and burgundies. To get the free and seductive look of the 70′s isn’t hard – all you need is to stay natural or go strong on nails. nail polish colors involves a mix of clear coats & bold, ethnic shades.

60's look for nails

hi all,
earlier i had posted the 50's nail look and today i am posting the nail trend in 1960's.

To get the strong and sexy look of the 60′s isn’t hard – all you need is to keep it simple and subdued on your nails – it’s the eyes that make your 60′s look. The 60′s are known for a slightly more subdued glamour. Bright red gave way to softer, more pastel shades on nails.

Difference Between Gel Nails And Acrylic Nails

By:

Nail art has gone way ahead past the conventional method of only applying nail paint. Now, you literally need not possess a good pair of nails to beautify them because now there's the possibility of gel nails and acrylic nails. Both look so beautiful therefore real that almost all won't actually be able to make down the difference. Artificial nails are located in abundance, will not be that expensive and may be easily applied onto your nails. Most experienced nail salons have a tendency at creating beautiful nails by using the artificial ones especially on special occasions, festivals or simply on weddings, the spot that the requirement for these artificially enhanced nails can be easily gauged.

Though most nail salons provide the possibility to pick from acrylic or gel nails, however, it truly is always perfect for know which may suit well with your nails many and will last a lengthy time period.

DIFFERENT NAIL POLISH FINISHES

The different types of nail polish finishes

Shimmer – subtle (usually metallic) color mixed very evenly in base color (typical color balance has more pigment than shimmer, but there are also sheer shimmers )

  • Micro-shimmer – very fine metallic/sparkly particles mixed evenly throughout base color (this finish is often smooth to the touch)

NAIL PIERCING NAIL ART

What Is a Nail Piercing?
A nail piercing is a piercing that is done to the nail. These types of piercings are unique in that they do not involve any pain. After a piercing is completed, a piece of jewelry can be inserted through the resulting hole for decoration. A nail piercing is best done on artificial nails and can contribute to a person's image. Anyone interested in a nail piercing should avoid performing the piercing himself or herself and should consult a professional piercer.

Nail piercings can, hypothetically, be placed on any nail. Some nails, however, are more hospitable to jewelry than others. The nails on the little finger and the ring finger can provide a good place for a nail piercing, because these fingers are usually used less than the others, and less use of the pierced nail minimizes the potential for damage. Piercing a nail on either of these fingers can look more feminine than the alternatives, if that look is desired.

While looking for inspiration for future nail designs, I stumbled upon these images of Ciate's latest creation: Caviar nails.

Presently, you have your pick of three colors – multi (rainbow), white (mother of pearl), and black (black pearls). We’re sure more hues will be offered as demand increases. The kits will be available in the US this April at your friendly, neighborhood Sephora.

IMPORTANCE OF CUTICLE OIL.

Cuticle oil is of great importance for a person who has panache for great looking fingers and nails. It is mainly used to keep ones cuticles in great shape. Nowadays, women hardly have any time and are too busy juggling between their professional and personal lives to take extensive care of their hands, which definitely form an integral part of one's personality. Cracked and splintered nails and cuticles look awful and often lead to low self esteem and confidence. Just imagine if you have an important client meeting or a wedding to attend and you have cracked cuticles, how would you feel? A sexy red nail polish on your long nails would not help you go too far if the root of your nails which is the cuticle, is not healthy and is cracked.
